Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire national park via Mto wa Mbu
From your hotel in Arusha, your safari guide will pick you up and you start your 3-day safari driving to the Mto wa Mbu village for a guided tour in this culture bustling town which is home to over 100 different tribes from across Tanzania. With this rich culture diversity, expect an exciting tour. You will visit the banana plantations and get to see how the local banana beer is made which you will get a chance to taste, art and craft shops and interact with the locals to get to know about their ways of life.
After the village tour, proceed to Tarangire national park driving to your safari lodge / camp. Check in, have lunch and later in the afternoon embark on a game drive in the giant baobab tree dotted park.
Day 2: Tarangire national park – Game drive
Explore Tarangire national park on a full day game drive expedition. After breakfast, head out into the wilderness with packed hot food for a picnic lunch. Explore the different habitats of Tarangire national park. For a chance to see the diverse wildlife that call this quiet park home. Look out for the elephants, these are very common around the park so you will see lots of them, buffalos, zebras, lions, giraffes, wildebeests and more. Drive to the lifeline of the park, Tarangire River for more wildlife sightings along its banks. Dinner and overnight back at your safari lodge /camp.
Day 3: Transfer back to Arusha -End of safari
Rise and shine, it’s the last day of your 3-day safari, after breakfast. Enjoy one last game drive as you exit the back driving back to Arusha. To mark the end of your safari. Drop off at the hotel or Arusha airport.
