Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire national park

Known for its large herds of the African elephants, Tarangire national park is one of the popular wildlife destinations North of Tanzania. From your hotel in Arusha, your safari guide will pick you up and you journey on through the country side to Tarangire national park.

Embark on a game drive upon arrival and then drive to your lodge for check in and lunch. In the late afternoon head back out to explore the [ark driving to the Tarangire River for great wildlife sightings. Elephants, buffalos, zebras, giraffes, lions, hippos, hyenas, leopards, different antelopes and birds can be spotted on a game drive in Tarangire national park. Overnight back at your lodge.

Day 2: Transfer to Lake Manyara national park

Pre-sunrise game drive in Tarangire national park for a chance to spot the early morning hunters and grazers of the park, return to your lodge, have breakfast and check out then exit the park for Lake Manyara national park.

Enjoy last minute sightings as you exit the park and on arriving in Lake Manyara national park, you will drive to your lodge for lunch and later embark on an afternoon game drive to explore areas around Lake Manyara encountering zebras, elephants, giraffes, impalas, hyenas, lions, hippos, flamingos flocking the soda lake and many other water birds. Return to your lodge by sunset for a relaxing evening, dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Game drive – End of safari

Early breakfast and then embark on a morning game drive in Lake Manyara national park. For a chance to spot more wildlife including what you might have missed out on day 2. After the game drive, exit the park driving back to Arusha town. Via the village of Mto wa Mbu for a brief tour. Drop off at the hotel in Arusha or at the airport.
